Those of you who've been grabbing some new games may have come accross a certain error. The game will load, but you'll then come accross an error -
"Cannot access save data. Turn off the power and reinsert the DS Card"
There is a very simple way to remedy this problem
Download Arm 7- here (Right click, save as...)
Download DS Lazy - here (Right click, save as...)
Extract the content of DS lazy into a folder, and open it up.
Select the DS Lazy icon to begin the application.
You'll see the file finder (the ...) button. Click this, then select the rom you want to "fix"
Once you've selected a ROM, click on the "Unpack" button
This can take a minute or two, but once it's done you'll see a folder called NDS_Unpack (the folder should open automatically)
From here, you'll see a variety of files, one of which is called "arm7"
Open the arm7 archive (that you should of downloaded earlier) and extract it into this folder, replacing the original.
When this is done, click on the "Repack" button from DS Lazy. You'll be prompted to give the file a new name, so give it the games title.
This will create your new, fully functioning .nds file, so just transfer it onto your card as you normally would.
This has happened to me on a few newer releases (Drawn to Life and Megaman Force) but I'm sure many other new releases will encounter the same problem, so here's the fix.
Enjoy
Edit: If you do make use of this information, take the time to drop 2die4 some special K, he covered this 2 weeks ago, but I seem to have missed it back then!
