Do you know what IOS's you deleted?
I can see you don't have 202 or 222 - You were lucky that you didn't delete IOS70 that would have been a brick.
If you only removed the stub IOS's then i wouldn't worry to much - just backup your nand.
There is an option in DopMiiV12 (scan wii internals) that shows you what IOS's you have installed and what version they are and save the info onto your sd card so you can post the results.

Well looking at that report you can see the IOS's and their versions.
You can also see that IOS36 is patched & IOS15 fakesigned.
DopMii doesn't list stub IOS's (blank ios's basically) so from that i take it you haven't installed 202,222,223 or 249 yet.
If it were me i'd do my nand backup then continue onto step 3.

As you can see from the report nearly all your version numbers are 65535 (maxed out) which means you have installed cioscorp at some time.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Is that a bad thing? does it need to be removed?
I quite enjoyed playing backups through the official channel, in a big F*ck You N*ntendoh kind of way
Where do I go from here?
Sorry to being a dumb ass but I'm out of practice
What do you want to do? - What can't you do?
cioscorp is a pain cos it alters most of your ios's, when all it really does is enable you to load via the disc channel and not another channel.
Dop-Mii can remove it but means updating all your ios's & there is official uninstallers, but i think you need to know what version you installed.
either way i'm sure we'll sort it.
Hi
As this was done a while ago I no longer have the files on the SD card to check which files were changed. So I have no idea of the version I have.
A quick read up on removing gave me 3 possible solutions, use official cioscorp uninstaller which may leave some file behind. use Dop-mii which will remove everything, but look very long winded & possibly cause a brick. Update via Nintendo. (mayeb this is the way to go?)
Currently I'm on:
System ver 3.2E
HBC 1.01 ios 36 (v255.255)
NeoGamma R4 ios 249 rev 10
Waninkoko SD/USB Loader v1.5
Preloader v0.29 ios v30 system menu v290
At one time the system ver 3.2 was the one of choice, but now it seems many people are saying it's better to update to the latest one to get newer games to work?
I just wanted to be up to date, I have a few games on disc, but loads on 2 external HDD.
(plus my mate wants his doing, so thought I'd may as well do mine first & get familiar with the latest stuff. )
Thanks for your help
I've had a read also and if it were me i'd install bootmii as boot2 and do a nand backup just to be on the safe side.
Then install cios38r17 (249r17) and run 4.2 safe updater rather than do a nintendo update, as that way you won't have to reinstall bootmii or remove the stub ios's.
All the required files are in the download - any hassles pm me
Regards
Right after loads of messing around I finally realised that I couldn't install bootmii or update the firmware or even update the HBC because of the damage cioscorp had done.
eventually used the cioscorp uninstaller which actually worked really well, just ran it & it uninstalled all of the files it modded & replaced them with the original nintendo ones were necessary.
Couldn't believe how many there was, it changed a lot of files.
After that bootmii loaded without any errors, updated HBC installed dvdx & is now performing a NAND backup.
I would just like to take this time to tell anyone who has or is thinking about softmodding
DO NOT INSTALL CIOSCORP!!!
It really does more damage than good, many idiots have posted all over the web saying it helps load games, which is why I used it, but boy am I sorry now!
(just wish the sticky was on here last year!!)
Now onwards to system 4.2
Success!
4.2 installed & all software working fine

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my wii. Had HBC installed on 3.2E and using REv13a and neo gamma to load games. Everything was fine but couldnt run newer games so I tried to install new FW from Renke's soft mod guide. As I had HBC already installed I skipped that bit and tried to install the required bits. However I later realised, after getting error 0001 that my lad had updated to 4.1, so then tried to play catchup from the guide. I thought everything was done but still getting Error 001. Is there a way to undo everything and startover or do I need to do something else. BTW have got wiinja v2 installed from some time back, but it has been fine with softmod until now. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks

Ran though the Guide again, follwed it word for word and job Done!!!!
need to stop reading between the lines and do what i am told
Ahh well job done
Thanks again
p.s the
Install USB Loader Forwarder link is not working on your guide
When I goto 'channels SD' my wii freezes so cannot go any further for installing Bootmii or the HBC. I have HBC installed already, but its an old install. Will this affect it?
Having run through as much as I can from the walk through, I cant install Hacks, and every disc I try to play gives Error 001.
Hacks gives message couldnt find any hacks for system menu version v 482
Any tips or advice?
Thanks

Hi there rmj2663,
What is your System Menu Version? as v482 is 4.2E
And you run the hackmii installer via the sd card icon on a 4.2E
Regards
Quick question for Renke, I never updated my Wii shopping channel before installing homebrew etc. Whats the best way to update it now ?
I found this : http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew-dow...installer.html
You think thats best option ?

Using Dop-Mii
I would update ios61 to the latest version
Then install the latest Shopping Channel for you region (Version18)
Regards
Dop-Mii is a very useful App for keeping your wii upto date.
I tried the program I linked and seems to have worked fine
It said if im on firmware 4.0+ dont need to update isos61 so skipped it.
sorted
Hi Renke
Its 4.1E, I used the 4.2 safe updater
Not sure if that makes a difference.
So load bootmii and update HBC from the SD icon - which works BTW - thanks
Just checked it is 4.2E
