still stuck at stage 8 M8, cannot get the hacks page to show up!!
MANY THANKS to renke uk, for helping me with this.
For those interested, it was leaving the sd card in the machine whilst rebooting. causing the problem.
Thanks again.
Hi I have a wii with a old modchip but I cant play some off the new games , do I need to do anything diffrernt?
Also I cant seem to find the guide on this thread it may becasue Im on my work pc.

Thanks for that I started last night but stopped for the football which was a pretty poor game.
Please can you confirm how to back up the nand from this step?
I installed BootMii as Boot2 - This Offers Best Brick Prevention at the moment.
It then says - Exit to System menu (HBC should now be Visible) - Goto BootMii NAND Backup
I went in to HBC i found a channel for bootmii settings but I could not see bootMii NAND backup ?
hey all, was sorting out a Wii last night
was running through quite smoothly
got too this section -
(3) Remove STUB IOS'S (Fake IOS’s Put there by 4.2 System Update to prevent homebrew)
System Menu 4.2 Only
Run Any Title Deleter MOD from the Homebrew Channel
· Select IOS36 as the IOS to start and press A to confirm.
· Navigate to "System Titles" and press A to confirm
· Select "IOS222" and press A to delete then A again to confirm.
· Select "IOS223" and press A to delete then A again to confirm.
· Select "IOS249" and press A to delete then A again to confirm.
· Select "IOS250" and press A to delete then A again to confirm.
· Push Home to exit Any Title Deleter Mod
Think i deleted a few ISO's before i realised it was set ones i had too do.
any Will still working booting up ect.
I take it these are required any way of resorting them?
done the Run Dop IOS Mod again but says all ready applied.
Would it be ok to continue ? or do i need too do anything before hand?
if you backed up the nand then b4 you did this then you can allways restore it , just plod on and see what happens.
ahh just noticed this line -
Exit to System menu (HBC should now be Visible) - Goto BootMii NAND Backup
did not realise this was a different section of your post too do the backup
errrm...... crap !
what do you suggest?
I think i click the BootMii Menu and ran though that and something was written to my SD card will need to check.
This looked straight forward but once i got into it got little confused with the post
with loads of Wii terminology that if you are not familiar with can be pretty confusing when you are trying to do this for the first time.
just to clear up you dont get the bootmii menu if its installed as boot2 from hbc
you get it if you power the wii with the sd card in and it has the bootme files on it , these files are created on the card when you install it as boot 2 .
i do get the menu but i skipped ahead and deleted a few iso files before i seen the backup section in the middle of part two and three that relates to a seperate part of the post on how too backup i.e exit and use wii buttons too backup i skipped . Sorry if this makes no sence i am a little confused
Thanks for youre help also the wiimote does not work have to use the power button and reset button to operate it.
How do I control the BootMii menu without a WiiMote?
Use a GC pad in port 1 to navigate the menu. If you don't have one, you can use the Power button to cycle through options in the menu, and Reset to select. You just need to briefly press each button.
Evening - Hope i an't confused ya
Thanks for a great guide all sorted now.
cool will need to try tomorrow did not get back till late and too tired now to even consider looking at it and cause more damage lol
Thanks for the help also much appreciated
The guide is brilliant just one or two steps a little un clear if you are a noob like me doing it.Originally Posted by renke_uk
might want to put the Backup as a separate point make it more noticeable so tools like me don't miss it cause lots of little kids not too have there Wii working lol
